Our mission is to promote the sustainable economy and equal opportunities by developing an ethical, conscious and effective entrepreneurial attitude.
The Foundation for Small Enterprise Economic Development (SEED) was founded in 1990 by entrepreneurial representative groups, higher education institutions, financial institutions and ministries with the aim of providing methodological background and concrete support for the development of small businesses in Hungary.
In the 30 years since its establishment, the SEED Foundation has been involved in numerous national and international research, methodological development and adaptation projects in order to offer services more and more relevant to the development needs of the target groups. The Executive Director of the SEED Foundation, Zsuzsanna Lakatosné Lukács, is also personally committed to the development of a conscious small and medium-sized entrepreneurial layer by considering important the development of entrepreneurial competences and knowledge being available at all levels of education, in the spirit of the lifelong learning.
OUR AIMS whit our activities:
1) KNOWLEDGE TRANSFER: To enable start-up and pre-development entrepreneurs to develop and continue a long-term sustainable business model through entrepreneurial knowledge and experience.
2) COMMUNITY BUILDING: To build an entrepreneurial community counterbalancing and supporting the loneliness of entrepreneurship.
3) INFORMATION SHARING: To collect and share the up-to-date information, experiences and best practices being necessary for the activity of businesses.
4) PROVIDING A SAFETY NET: To provide a safety net for businesses in close cooperation with business development organisations, education and support institutions.
