is a non-profit and apolitical association from the Republic of Moldova, founded in
September 2003 by eight foreign investors, with the support of the OECD, as part of a
project aimed at stimulating reforms and improving the business environment in the
countries from South-Eastern Europe. The association brings together 26 members from 15
countries – the largest companies with foreign capital in the Republic of Moldova, which
have created over 23,000 jobs. The total volume of investments – 2 billion 600 million euros,
which represents almost 19% of the Moldovan GDP, in all areas of the Moldovan economy:
agriculture, automotive, winemaking, oil, telecommunications and IT, health and
pharmaceuticals, banks, distribution, insurance, consulting and auditing, etc.
